Who should skip the detour?
Skip Dongmen on a short Nanshan, airport, Yantian, or Dapeng day. For a modern skyline or waterfront, Futian and Nanshan offer more representative alternatives.
Luohu Checkpoint is transport, not a competing attraction
The checkpoint may make Dongmen convenient after entry, but it is not an attraction equivalent to the pedestrian street. Plan immigration time separately.
